This page explains what information Just In Case Cellphone Store ("we") collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and phone number if you give it. If you sign up with a password, we store it scrambled (hashed), never as plain text.
- Google sign-in: if you choose "Sign in with Google", Google shares your name and email address with us. We never see your Google password, and we get no other access to your Google account.
- Chats: the messages you send through the chat on this site, including conversations with our staff and technicians.
- Repairs, purchases and warranties: details of devices you bring in or buy from us, such as the brand, model, serial number or IMEI, the problem, and your receipt.
- Sign-in records: when you signed in and from which IP address, kept for security.
How we use it
- To run your account and let you sign in.
- To show you the status of your repair and answer your questions.
- To process warranty claims and keep sales records.
- To keep the site secure, for example by stopping repeated failed sign-ins.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who else can see it
- Our staff and technicians, as far as their work needs it.
- Services that run parts of this site for us: our hosting provider, the service that sends our emails, and Google when you choose to sign in with Google.
- Some page elements, such as fonts, load from other providers, which can see your IP address when your browser requests them.
- Authorities, when the law requires us to share it.
What's stored on your device
To keep you signed in, your browser stores your login session. The chat window also keeps your conversation until you close the tab. Logging out removes your login session.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Some records, like sales receipts, may need to be kept even after an account is deleted.
